Dr. Robert S. Pepper — Chairman of the Board

Robert was the CEO of Level One Communications, which was acquired by Intel Corporation for $2.2 billion. He is a founding member of the Fabless Semiconductor Association. Robert holds B.S.E.E., M.S.E.E., and Ph.D. E.E. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley.


Hal Calhoun - Menlo Ventures

Hal joined Menlo Ventures in 2000. Prior to Menlo Ventures, he served as Senior Vice President of Product Marketing for ONI Systems (ONIS), a leading optical networking equipment manufacturer. Previously, he held various market development positions in the Optical Networks division of Nortel Networks and was Senior Manager of Broadband Transport Planning at Fujitsu Network Communications. At Menlo, Hal focuses on investments in leading companies in the information technology sector. His recent investments and board seats include Bluesocket, Gtronix, Invidi, KeyEye, Movaz Networks, Parama Networks, S2io Technologies and Santur. Hal is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology (B.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering), where his graduate work focused on photonic materials, devices and systems.


Harry Laswell - American River Ventures

Harry Laswell has 23 years of experience in product development, strategic marketing, and venture capital investing. Before founding American River Ventures (ARV), Harry was a Managing Director of Intel Capital (the venture arm of Intel Corporation), managing a team that invested over $300 million in 41 companies. In that role, he worked closely with the entrepreneurs to help grow those companies successfully. Before joining Intel Capital, Harry worked at Intel Corporation for 16 years in various senior management positions in marketing and product development. He has extensive operational experience in semiconductor, communication systems, and services businesses.


Bart Schachter - Blueprint Ventures

Bart Schachter is a Founding and Managing Partner of Blueprint Ventures. Bart brings 17 years of entrepreneurial, venture, and industry operating experience in communication semiconductors, wireless, and infrastructure software. He has backed and served on the boards of over 25 emerging technology companies including Covad, Copper Mountain, Media4 (EchoStar), NorthPoint, AccessLan (AFC), IteX, GlobeSpanVirata, Broadband Access Systems (ADC), and Broadcom. Bart's current investment focus includes wireless technologies, nanoelectronics, and communications semiconductors.
